The Montgomery County Homeless Coalition (MCHC) is an alliance of individuals, agencies, and organizations that provide supporting services to the homeless. Operating under a community collaboration strategy, the Homeless Coalition:
- Assesses the services and housing needs of the homeless population
- Coordinates grant proposals,
- Inventories existing resources,
- Identifies gaps in housing services,
- Advises the community on homeless issues, and
- Advocates for affordable housing.
